Job Summary
Provide personal care and support to older individuals in accordance with their individual care plans, assisting with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene. Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity while promoting their physical and emotional well-being. Work collaboratively with team members and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, maintaining accurate records of client care and reporting condition changes. Adhere to safety and quality care standards, ensuring a safe environment while respecting client confidentiality and professional boundaries. Expressions of Interest are invited for roles in Central Coast, NSW; a Certificate III in Individual Support is a bonus, with applications reviewed for aptitude and willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- Experience supporting older people and seniors in community and home settings
- Experience working with people living with disability and complex needs
- Competency in using smartphones and mobile devices with internet access
- Commitment to quality care and a safety-first approach
- Understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
