Job Summary
Seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators for mining projects. Responsibilities include operating mining equipment such as haul trucks, dozers, graders, and excavators, performing daily inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in large-scale open-pit mining, valid operator certifications, and a high school diploma. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 yrs recent experience working on large-scale mining projects, particularly in open-pit mines
- Valid equipment operator certifications, with a proven safety record in mine or construction operations
- Must have or be willing to acquire site-specific safety training (e.g., MSHA, First Aid/CPR)
- Valid driver's license at time of hire
- Authorization to work lawfully in the USA without sponsorship from Thiess is required
- Must be fluent in the English language
