Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day work on Australia's Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) capability, supporting significant defence programs through systems engineering, safety assurance, integration, testing, and certification. Manage project delivery, logistics support, asset management, and reliability while engaging stakeholders and leading technical initiatives. This Expression of Interest targets experienced engineers, specialists, and professionals to shape the future of sovereign defence capability. Candidates must hold an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance, with NV1 or higher required for application.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in guided weapons, explosive ordnance, defence systems, munitions, aerospace, maritime, or land capability programs
- Knowledge of systems engineering, safety assurance, integration, testing, certification, or sustainment activities
- Experience in project delivery, logistics support, asset management, reliability, or capability development
- Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills
- Defence industry, Defence Force, or government experience
- Active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance
- NV1 Clearance or above
