Job Summary
Entry-level Quick Lube Technician at Jackson Automotive Group in Albany, OR. Perform multipoint inspections, communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors, service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles with grease guns, inspect and top off fluids, check tire pressure, lubricate moving parts, drain and refill oil, add water to radiator and battery, replace oil and air filters, inspect vehicles for additional repairs, and adhere to safety procedures and company policies. Strong emphasis on basic automotive repair/maintenance knowledge, ability to read instructions, valid driver license, and effective communication; prior helper/apprentice experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions
- Prior experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice preferred
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information
- Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenance
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
