Job Summary
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Perform work specified on repair orders using electronic diagnostic equipment, test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding additional service needs and provide accurate time estimates for repairs. Requires valid driver's license, clean driving record, steady hand, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. Competitive 401k, medical/dental/vision, PTO, and employee discounts available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and proficient computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
