Job Summary
Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders; complete maintenance and repairs requested for guest vehicles; communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts; test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; inform Service Advisors about recommended or required additional services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in an automotive shop
- General mechanical skills and manual dexterity
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds several times during each shift
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to type and utilize functions of a computer and various operating programs
