Job Summary
Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks according to manufacturer standards. Inspect air filters, batteries, belts, and hoses; document findings on repair orders and recommend additional repairs. Maintain a clean, organized work area while operating shop equipment safely. Follow all dealership safety policies and environmental regulations. Assist with additional shop duties as assigned. Complete training and certification opportunities. Work in a fast-paced team environment with opportunities for advancement to Service Technician.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Manual dexterity to safely operate tools and equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous automotive experience
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
