Job Summary
Test whether systems and components are secure and working properly, isolate the root cause of issues, and drive the vehicle for testing purposes. Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles by replacing worn parts before breakdowns occur. Utilize power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks while operating electronic diagnostic equipment. This role involves fluid checks, oil changes, and inspecting belts, filters, and gauges within a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Basic knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
