Job Summary
Manage clinic schedules, PPE and supply inventory, and all EMR/EPIC documentation systems according to BPHC guidelines. Oversee staff supervision, onboarding, and training while supervising testing activities for COVID, STI, and HIV, including post-test advising. Ensure appropriate follow-up referrals for positive cases and assist the Director in monitoring and analyzing case data. Prepare and submit reports as needed and establish effective communication with staff, management, PHL, HP, and Clinic-Ops. Report directly to the Director of the Express Clinics within the Bureau of Public Health Clinics-Sexually Transmitted Infections, which operates eight clinics throughout New York City.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
- Two years of full-time satisfactory experience in a public health program, performing duties involving case finding, case management, interviewing, investigating and other related public health work
- One year of experience in a supervisory capacity
- An associate degree from an accredited college or university
- Twelve semester credits in health education, or in health, social or biological sciences
- Four years of experience as described in the baccalaureate degree requirement
- One year of experience in a supervisory capacity
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization
- Six years of experience as described in the baccalaureate degree requirement
- One year of experience in a supervisory capacity
- A satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the baccalaureate, associate, or high school diploma requirements
- A minimum of two years of experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity
