Express Car Wash Tunnel Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, plumbing, and mechanical issues with car wash equipment, then complete repairs, run system cycles, or create work orders for unreported problems. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical/electronic components and structural equipment, including welding when required. Assist with installing new equipment, replacing old units, and maintaining company assets like service vehicles and tools. Transport supplies between sites, maintain inventory, and complete daily reports, expense logs, and store visits. Work a typical schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with additional site repairs during operational hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in carwash plumbing and mechanical
- Forklift experience and/or ability to obtain Forklift certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to lift 75lbs, climb ladders, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs
- Ability to bend intermittently and repeatedly, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods
- Knowledge of low voltage, single and three phase power, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Metal fabrication and welding skills
- Cooper, PVC, and Stainless-Steel welding/assembling experience
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, as well as installation drawings and blueprints
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make quality control and efficiency decisions
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge and proper use of small and large hand tools
- Basic computer and networking skills
- Ability to learn through manufacturer's training, manuals, service bulletins, or self-motivated research
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Uphold the company's vehicle and personnel policies
- Follow and retain instructions and training
- Comply with all applicable OHSA, ESA, and other provincial regulatory laws, as well as company safety policies
