Job Summary
Prepare documentation, dock receipts, bills of lading, and export declarations; file SEDs and track cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery. Provide accurate billing information to the accounting department and communicate with customers regarding freight disposition, routing, dispatching, and rate quotations. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other company branches to secure the most profitable shipment modes while meeting customer requirements. Maintain excellent service execution through effective communication with internal and external personnel in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two to three years related experience
- Must be career oriented
- Must be hardworking
- Must be a quick learner
- Must have excellent recall for past events/situations/numbers
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to hear
- Must be able to use hands to operate computer equipment
- Must have close vision
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods
- Must be able to use standard office equipment
- Must be able to pass an E-Verify Check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Import/Export industry
- At least one year industry experience
- Professional certification
