Job Summary
Export Control Specialist responsible for supporting day-to-day export compliance activities related to advanced technology, particularly as related to human spaceflight and ITAR/EAR licensing. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining export compliance policies, preparing export license applications, determining product classifications, tracking licenses and agreements, supporting training programs, conducting internal audits, and serving as the primary point of contact for the Export Control Manager within the Legal department. Requires 3+ years in export compliance and knowledge of EAR/ITAR; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Fully remote within the United States.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in export compliance
- Working knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required; equivalent professional experience will be considered
