Job Summary
Export Compliance Manager at Airbus Defence and Space in Bremen: manage Airbus Defence and Space Export Compliance at the Bremen site, ensure an end-to-end export control process with tracking of export issues throughout product development, and ensure compliance with national and international export laws and regulations (EAR/ITAR). Prepare export control documentation with Logistics and Customs for timely clearance; monitor products, documentation, equipment and parts subject to export restrictions; process national export licence requests for hardware, software and transfer of technology; execute the Secure Hiring Process; improve export compliance processes and provide trainings and awareness sessions. Requires degree-level education in Law/Business Law/Export/Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent, with knowledge or experience in Export Control, ability to work precisely, initiative and willingness to learn, plus strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace and SAP; fluent in German and English. Airbus supports flexible working arrangements where possible and encourages development and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Law, Business Law, Export, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
- Ideally relevant knowledge and experience in Export Control
- Attended dedicated training courses in Export Control (advantage)
- Experience in international program business
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace and SAP
- Fluency in German and English
