Export Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary
Monitor and review export transactions to ensure compliance with U.S. regulations, sanctions, and internal policies. Review, file, and audit Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings while utilizing analytical tools to identify risks, errors, and trends. Conduct denied party and restricted party screening, escalate compliance concerns, and support investigations and corrective actions. Serve as a subject matter resource for export compliance inquiries, providing guidance on Incoterms, documentation, and procedures across multiple business units. Assist in developing compliance policies, participating in audits, and delivering training to employees. Build collaborative relationships with Operations, Logistics, and Finance to facilitate efficient and compliant business processes.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of U.S. export regulations, compliance requirements, and international trade processes
- Ability to manage large datasets, analyze trends, identify risks, and support data-driven decision-making
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional, team environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and effectively influence positive change
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, perform effectively under pressure, and resolve complex trade compliance matters in a timely manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytics tools, including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Access
- Experience developing, maintaining, and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs), compliance controls, and operational processes
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Must be adaptable to work in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office
- Position is in office, hybrid, with discretion for the manager to change as dictated by business requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to communicate verbally, read, and comprehend information, type on a consistent and daily basis
- Push, pull, and lift to 40lbs on a weekly basis
- Ability to setup desk equipment including setting up equipment on top of desks and connecting cables and power cords under desk (requiring lifting, bending, pushing, pulling)
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Export Compliance, International Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, Logistics, or a related field
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
