Export Compliance Associate

Export Compliance Associate will draft and file ITAR license applications (including Technical Assistance Agreements and Manufacturing License Agreements), refine policies, enforce internal controls across ITAR/EAR/sanctions, and support robust supply chain and partner vetting. This role partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, and Program teams to vet suppliers, screen transactions, and embed compliance into daily workflows. Responsibilities include managing export classifications, licensing pathways, authorizations, and regulatory documentation; ensuring handling of controlled technical data, deemed exports, and foreign-person access controls; and maintaining licensing records and evidence of internal controls. 3+ years’ experience in export/compliance in defense/aerospace or dual-use tech is preferred; familiarity with ECCNs, USML categories, DDTC/BIS licensing, TAAs/MLAs, DSP licenses, and sanctions is highly valued. The position reports to the Regulatory Affairs and Export Compliance Manager and supports global operations while maintaining audit-readiness and robust policy enforcement.
