Job Summary
As an Expo / Food Runner at Tei-An, you coordinate between the kitchen and dining room to organize, inspect, and facilitate the timely delivery of dishes while maintaining accuracy, presentation, and efficiency. You will call tickets, manage pacing, communicate clearly with chefs and front-of-house staff, assist guests and support servers and managers, and ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards. The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and an understanding of dining room flow. Experience in Japanese restaurants is a plus but not required, and bilingual English/Japanese is a plus. Certifications (TABC and Food Handler) as required by regulations are part of the role. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Minimum 3 months of hospitality experience preferred

- Willingness to learn and improve
- TABC and Food Handler Certification as required by state and local regulations
