Job Summary
Coordinate food orders and prioritize tickets to ensure timely, accurate delivery to guests. Inspect all dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before leaving the kitchen. Act as the communication bridge between kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow. Assist with final plating and garnishing as needed while keeping the expo station clean and organized. Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to handle special requests, allergy alerts, and guest concerns. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working in a hot, fast-paced environment. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Dedicate oneself to delivering GREAT guest service, consistently going above and beyond for both team members and guests.
- Organize and prioritize food tickets to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Inspect all dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before they leave the kitchen.
- Act as the communication bridge between kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist kitchen staff with final plating and garnishing of dishes as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized expo station throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to handle special requests, allergy alerts, and guest concerns.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
