Job Summary
Inspect all dishes before they leave the kitchen to ensure quality, verify order completeness and presentation standards, and coordinate timing with the kitchen team for simultaneous service. Cross-check orders against tickets, relay special requests and modifications, and maintain clear communication with servers and management while handling guest inquiries. Keep the expo station clean, organized, and well-stocked, assist with clearing empty dishes, and address any discrepancies with kitchen staff promptly. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting of trays up to 30 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment to deliver exceptional dining experiences at Cunningham Restaurant Group.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an expeditor or in a similar role in a restaurant
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the kitchen and dining area for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of trays and dishes weighing up to 30 pounds
