Job Summary
As an Expo at Custom House in Avila Beach, you will ensure the efficient flow of orders from servers to the kitchen, confirm correct priority and presentation, assist in final dish preparation, verify accuracy and temperature before delivery, and relay important notes between kitchen and wait staff while helping resolve customer concerns to maintain our guest experience. The role emphasizes organization, multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment, attention to detail in dish presentation and quality standards, and collaboration with front-of-house and kitchen teams. Prior expo or similar restaurant-support experience is a plus but not required; training for Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Service is provided. Weekend and holiday availability, physical stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and a customer-focused, team-oriented attitude are essential.
