Job Summary
Expediters are responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for Members and guests by maintaining high culinary standards and producing top-notch dishes in a timely manner. Responsibilities include expediting orders with accuracy and professionalism, assisting in daily culinary operations, ensuring proper plating and timing of tickets, adhering to health and sanitation codes, working the line to produce high-end dishes, mastering recipes and kitchen protocols, managing tickets and coordinating with Food Runners, and supporting opening/closing duties while helping to control food costs. Must maintain attention to detail, communicate effectively, work as part of a team, and stay current with industry trends and standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- High-end/Fine Dining culinary experience in a hospitality environment
- Prior kitchen operations experience
- Proficient knowledge of kitchen operations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Willingness to learn and accept instruction
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
