Job Summary
Expo acts as the bridge between the kitchen and servers, ensuring timely communication and that each order meets quality and accuracy standards. Duties include organizing food according to orders, facilitating communication between kitchen and service staff, verifying orders before service, notifying servers when food is ready for pick up, setting up the expedition area at the start of each shift, preparing garnishes and trays, light food preparation and side duties, and stepping in as needed to maintain smooth operations. Emphasis on delivering excellent guest service, maintaining high quality standards, and coordinating with management and staff to adapt to menu changes and service flow.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum one year experience as an expo/expediter
- Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and supplies safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain order accuracy
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid Food Handlers Certification
