Job Summary
Develop and post menus complying with State Food Program guidelines, purchasing food with Ministry Director approval and submitting invoices. Prepare and deliver meals to classrooms within appropriate temperature and quantity standards while maintaining a sanitary kitchen and cleaning equipment. Assist teachers in the classroom when needed, unload deliveries, and stock the kitchen. Attend required training and workshops for nutrition. This role supports the Explore & Grow Team in serving children and their families. Full-time 40-hour schedule from 7am-3pm M-F.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a love and willingness to serve children and their families
- Must be a committed Christian living a life of obedience to Christ
- Must be 18
- Minimum educational requirement set forth by the State of Michigan Department of Childcare Licensing
- CPR training
- Blood Borne Pathogen Training Annually
- State required training and professional development
