Exploratory Teacher - Computer Science - Harding

Exploratory Teacher responsible for delivering exploratory classes to grades 6-8 with current duties including health and wellness instruction. Develops and implements programming for health and wellness, supports district curriculum and benchmarks, and collaborates with middle school staff to meet academic goals. Maintains active communication with parents and the community, assists in planning social-emotional/behavioral programming, and partners with the principal, school counselor, staff, parents, and students on exploratory-class initiatives. Requires on-site work and a Bachelor's degree in education; familiarity with project-based learning and ability to interpret assessment data and professional regulations. Strong emphasis on maintaining records, confidentiality, and adherence to district policies; ability to engage in professional collaboration and deliver curriculum aligned to Iowa teaching standards.
