Job Summary
Lead exploration programs for Carlin-type gold-silver deposits, directing target generation, project pipeline, and drill planning to drive resource growth. Oversee QA/QC across exploration activities, mentor a technical team, and perform geological/structural modeling as needed. Requires 15+ years in exploration (with leadership in mining) and a Bachelor's degree in Geosciences or related field; willingness to relocate to Nevada or work remotely within the United States in a remote mining environment. Nevada-preferred location with open consideration for candidates nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of exploration experience with Carlin-type, epithermal gold-silver, and similar deposit styles
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in exploration management within the mining industry
- Experience with both near-mine and regional exploration programs
- Experience advancing both surface and underground projects
- Strong understanding of QA/QC principles, implementation, and data evaluation
- Proficiency with exploration and mining software applications
- GIS and 3D modeling experience preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and team-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Geosciences or a related field; field camp experience required
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work in remote mining and exploration environments
- Safety, Environmental, and Compliance awareness
