Job Summary
Plan and execute exploration field programs, including drilling supervision, geological mapping, and sampling. Collect, validate, and manage geological, geochemical, and spatial datasets while maintaining high health and safety standards and QA/QC protocols. Interpret data to contribute to technical reporting, develop GIS databases, and support 3D geological modelling. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental, mining, and sustainability projects across Australia and internationally. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Geology and 1–5 years of field experience. Travel and fieldwork are required.
Required Qualifications
- Perth-based
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline
- 1-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated field competency in: Drill program supervision
- Demonstrated field competency in: Sampling programs
- Demonstrated field competency in: Geological mapping
- Demonstrated field competency in: QA/QC implementation and monitoring
- Demonstrated field competency in: Field safety and risk management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel and undertake fieldwork as required
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work across a variety of projects
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS and/or QGIS)
- Experience using Leapfrog Geo for 3D geological modelling and interpretation
- Exposure to geochemistry, mineral resource evaluation or exploration targeting
- Experience working with environmental consulting projects
- Reporting experience in accordance with industry standards (JORC familiarity advantageous)
