Job Summary
Develop software models using MATLAB/Simulink and perform Model-Based Design for avionics embedded applications. Create and validate simulation packages, execute model-level test cases, and generate production code via model-based tools. Collaborate with system and verification teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure compliance with aerospace standards. Support integration activities on target hardware or simulation environments while maintaining technical documentation and traceability matrices. This role requires 3-6 years of experience in the Avionics domain with immediate to 30-day notice, located in Bangalore.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 Years
- Experience in Avionics domain Background
- Strong experience in MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience in developing and validating simulation packages
- Hands-on experience in Model-Based Development (MBD)
- Good understanding of software requirement analysis and software design
- Experience with embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications
- Knowledge of software verification and validation methodologies
- Familiarity with configuration management and version control tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SCADE, IBM Rhapsody, or SysML
- Knowledge of DO-178C software development lifecycle and certification process
- Understanding of avionics communication protocols such as ARINC 429, ARINC 664 (AFDX), MIL-STD-1553, or CAN
- Experience with code generation tools such as Embedded Coder
- Exposure to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), or Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing
- Familiarity with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
