Job Summary
Administer, monitor, and evolve customer firewall systems while implementing secure network infrastructures. Verify, optimize, and harden IT environments with a focus on cybersecurity, developing and operating secure, high-availability network concepts for medium-sized enterprises and municipal facilities. Advise clients holistically on IT security topics, develop security strategies, and integrate expertise into customer projects. Support incidents, security breaches, and 2nd- and 3rd-level support remotely or on-site. Leverage deep understanding of IT to translate abstract customer requirements into concrete solutions.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossene IT-Ausbildung, z.B. als Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) für Systemintegration oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Praxiswissen im Aufbau und Betrieb moderner Netzwerke inkl. Routing, Switching, VLANs und Netzsegmentierung
- tiefergehende Erfahrung mit Firewall- und Netzwerktechnologien, z.B. Fortinet, Sophos, HPE Aruba oder Ubiquiti
- Erfahrung im User- und System-Support
- hohe Serviceorientierung
- Eigeninitiative
- fundierte Kenntnisse im Einsatz von IT-Sicherheitslösungen, z.B. Next-Gen Endpoint Protection, Firewalls und Monitoring-Tools
- sehr gute Kenntnisse gängiger Netzwerkprotokolle (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN/IPsec etc.)
