Job Summary
Lead technology strategy and execution for strategic industrial lubricant portfolios, including gear oils and hydraulic fluids, driving fit-for-purpose product development and formulation optimization. Manage end-to-end lifecycle from concept generation through commercialization, while supporting OEM approvals, qualification programs, and technical differentiation for global customers. Provide expert leadership in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause investigations for critical customer issues and operational challenges. Monitor industrial trends and technology innovations to identify growth opportunities, establish strategic relationships with OEMs and industry partners, and represent the company in technical forums. Maintain effective project governance across innovation initiatives and formulation changes, ensuring safety compliance and continuous improvement in industrial lubrication applications.
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of industrial lubrication technology, tribology and machinery lubrication systems
- Expertise in gear oils and other industrial lubricant applications
- Experience in wind turbine gearbox lubrication
- Experience in OEM approval programs
- Experience in renewable energy applications
- Proven track record in industrial lubricant product development from concept through commercialization
- Experience working with global OEM organizations
- Experience working with cross-regional technical teams
- Familiarity with patent landscape
- Familiarity with technology trends
- Familiarity with competitive benchmarking
- Focus areas in general industrial lubrication
- Focus areas in wind gear lubrication
- Wide connections with industrial partners including companies, institutes and researchers

- Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Engineering or related technical discipline
