Job Summary
Lead Workday HCM administration and configuration for Core HCM, Absence Management, Learning, Payroll Interfaces, and Time Tracking modules. Design business processes, security roles, and reporting structures while partnering with HR, Finance, and Operations to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Manage bi-annual release cycles, coordinate regression testing and UAT, and resolve Tier 2/3 incidents to ensure system stability. Mentor junior consultants and maintain documentation for operational procedures. Support US Eastern Time business hours with occasional off-hours availability for maintenance windows.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on Workday HCM functional consulting experience
- at least 2 full end-to-end lifecycle implementations
- Deep expertise across Workday HCM modules: Core HCM, Absence Management, Learning, Payroll Interfaces, Time Tracking, and Business Process Configuration
- Strong command of Workday's functional architecture, data model, and business process framework
- Proficiency with Workday reporting tools: standard reports, custom reports, calculated fields, matrix reports, and condition rules
- Workday HCM certification(s) in one or more functional areas
- Availability during one of the following shifts: Standard US Shift (5:00 AM – 2:00 PM ET) or Late Evening US Shift (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM ET)
- Occasional off-hours and weekend availability for planned maintenance windows and critical incident response
