Job Summary
Leidos is seeking an Expert Software Engineer to provide development engineering and programming support to large-scale projects, including database architecture, operations and maintenance of systems, and software design and modification. The role requires expertise in various programming languages, cloud services, and the ability to manage software development processes. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and a BS degree with 12 years of relevant experience, alongside demonstrated skills in web software management and familiarity with code repositories.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Requires BS degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, and/or XML)
- Experience managing and developing web software
- Demonstrated experience with cloud services
- Experience in Windows and/or Unix
- Experience using code repositories such as Git
- Demonstrated experience documenting such artifacts as code and methodologies
- Familiarity with writing unit and integration tests
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Spring and Java
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL
- Experience working in an AGILE development environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable/parallelized architecture
- Possess a passion for learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends
- Understanding of Intelligence Community customers and their priorities
