Job Summary
Expert Secondary Systems role focusing on protection, automation and control for Elia’s transmission-network secondary systems. You will audit and conduct protection selectivity analyses with the Sincal tool, manage the Sincal data/configuration and ensure consistency with other simulation tools; lead the ASR database (Assets Settings Referential) and develop performance indicators for data quality; train and support tool users, contribute to knowledge sharing, and help shape the future vision/roadmap of these tools, including digitalisation and AI integration, with a progression toward a Business Application Leader role.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (civil or industrial engineer) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of protection systems, automation and control-command systems or concrete experience in these fields
- General understanding of electrical networks
- Ability to work with IT tools such as PSS Sincal, Power Factory or relational databases
- Knowledge of SQL, CIM standard or Power BI is an asset
- Autonomous, proactive, pragmatic, results-oriented with strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Fluency in French or Dutch and good command of English
