Job Summary
Expert Project Manager leads complex, multi-project initiatives by creating and implementing detailed project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for high-complexity work. Interfaces with stakeholders to secure approvals, assigns resources, organizes teams, manages costs and risks, and tracks performance against metrics. Plays a key role in client management, proposal efforts, and ongoing program governance. Remote position (US only) with some travel (0-10%). Focus areas include governance, risk mitigation, change management, and collaboration across technical and business teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Twelve or more years of project planning/management experience
- Experience working with project management methodology such as Catalyst including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices
- Experience working with productivity and methodology tools that increase project efficiency and effectiveness
- Experience working with administrative processes
- Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors
- Experience working with delivery assurance principles and appropriate procedures relevant to area
- Experience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases
- Experience working with project management practices to manage client project management, company management and project team expectations for agreed upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics
- Experience developing and presenting proposals and participating in sales calls to enhance opportunities for future business deals with clients
