Job Summary
The Expert Project Mechanical is responsible for leading mechanical engineering activities for the paper project, ensuring the successful design, installation, commissioning, and reliability of mechanical systems. The role includes overseeing mechanical engineering scope, reviewing mechanical designs, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. It requires troubleshooting mechanical issues, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and supporting project scheduling and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in pulp & paper or heavy industrial projects
- Strong expertise in paper machine systems, rotating equipment, and utilities
- Proven experience in project execution and commissioning
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
