Job Summary
Develop and enhance software digital twins using C++ and Python on Windows and Linux platforms, including modeling advanced threat systems such as Surface-to-Air Missile Systems, radar platforms, and missile seekers. Create tracking filters and signal processing chains for radar and electronic warfare systems, while developing algorithms for sensors, missiles, and C4 to support simulation studies. Plan, develop, and execute automated unit, system, and system-of-systems tests, collaborating with the team to create software models at required fidelity to meet customer goals. Define requirements and design solutions for modeling and simulation software within a collaborative development environment. This role requires a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and 20+ years of experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering. The position offers a salary range of $176,900.00 - $332,400.00 and includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, ESOP, and flexible work schedules.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- active Top Secret clearance
- willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a counterintelligence polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 20+ years of relevant experience
- Deep understanding of real-world threat weapon system characteristics, capabilities, and limitations, and the digital twin representations of those systems
- Advanced proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages
- Experience developing products with regular release cycles
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams and classified customers
- Proven experience working in DevOps and DevSecOps environments
Desired Qualifications
- Software development experience in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment
- Experience working in an AGILE software development team
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Experience designing, developing, or operating code for distributed processing environments
- Experience working with environmental datasets, Command-and-Control, and RF propagation
