Job Summary
Conduct sustainable crop production support and beekeeping expertise for small and medium-sized enterprises across 26 countries. Translate knowledge into practical project plans while empowering entrepreneurs toward inclusive business development. Operate as a sparring partner in culturally diverse settings, either remotely via Microsoft Teams or on two-week on-site locations where the client provides accommodation and meals. Leave a lasting social, environmental, and economic impact on local communities. Expand professional networks through sector days and knowledge exchange with a global pool of over 1,200 volunteer experts.
Required Qualifications
- relevant experience in field crops and/or beekeeping
- tropical crops (such as coffee and cocoa)
- Tropical crop cultivation
- Tropical livestock feed
- Irrigation
- Soil science
- Potato (production processing and post-harvest aspects)
- authentic, resilient, humble and dynamic professional
- excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing
- comfortable with digital tools, including Microsoft Office 365
- reside in the Netherlands
- registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP)
- have Dutch basic health insurance
- pass Prescreening (VOG)
