Expert, Electric QV Sub Specialist

The Electric Quality Construction (QC) Specialist conducts field assessments on PG&E’s electric transmission line and substation facilities, focusing on verifying quality of substation work and inspections as required by GO 174. Responsibilities include researching and linking sources of information to support audits, maintaining databases of audit findings and corrective actions, analyzing performance, identifying trends, designing and implementing data collection/reporting systems, and leading audit-related activities. This role operates in a hybrid model, with work from a remote office and assigned site within PG&E’s service territory. Compensation ranges are provided based on locality (Bay Area and California ranges). The position requires independent work, advanced regulatory knowledge, data analysis, potential project leadership, and the ability to manage less-experienced staff. Travel 25-50% with possible overnight stays is expected. Minimum education is High School/GED with 7 years of experience; a Bachelor's degree or QEW is desired.
