Job Summary
Expert for Dutch & Belgian Comics to curate engaging, high-quality comic auctions for the Netherlands and Belgium market. Assess and evaluate comic book lots submitted by users, create engaging lot listings and review titles, descriptions, images, and value estimates, curate auctions that attract bidders, maintain fairness and transparency when accepting or rejecting submissions, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to grow the auction selection. The role involves continuing to build expertise in the Dutch & Belgian comics market, working independently in a fast-paced digital environment, with excellent command of Dutch and good command of English. The position is a remote role across Europe, with the company’s offices in Amsterdam, Paris, and Lisbon supporting a hybrid setup for most employees.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for Dutch & Belgian comics and a strong interest in the collector market
- Good foundational knowledge of comics, collectibles, or comic culture
- Commercial mindset with some experience in sales, retail, e-commerce, or other customer-facing environments
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced digital environment
- Good computer skills
- Great team spirit and cooperative mentality
- Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English
