Job Summary
Conduct full phases of part machining including cost estimating, CNC file development, tooling identification, and rough/finish machining. Review technical data for accuracy, develop documentation, and support engineering designs. Plan shop layouts, set up machines, and provide scheduling and data gathering support to project managers. Participate in test events, report project status, and prepare technical reports and specifications. Maintain safety protocols and operate power tools while lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires 20+ years of experience, US citizenship, and potential security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
- Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery
- Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls
- Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline
