Job Summary

Expert, Compensation (Global Rewards) at Landis+Gyr seeks to shape and lead the global compensation strategy across the organization. The role covers support for executive and Board remuneration activities, management of global base salary processes, leadership of short-term and long-term incentive programs, overseeing global job evaluation and grading, conducting market benchmarking, ensuring equal pay compliance, and providing data-driven insights to attract, retain, and reward talent. Collaboration with Senior HR leaders, HR, Finance, and Payroll is required to deliver effective compensation solutions while supporting the Chief HR Officer. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 5–7 years of global compensation experience (ideally in a Swiss-listed company), strong Mercer IPE knowledge, proficiency with Excel and HR systems (SAP/SuccessFactors), and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluency in English with additional languages a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in global compensation
  • Strong expertise in job evaluation methodologies (including Mercer IPE) and compensation frameworks
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and HR systems (including SAP/SuccessFactors)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems independently
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
