Job Summary
Expert Asset Performance Analysis (APA) at Elia focusing on EMF expertise to support overhead line and cable projects, with additional contributions to Power Quality and transient phenomena analyses. Lead and collaborate on on-site measurement campaigns, EMF calculations for underground and overhead lines, and representation in national/international working groups. Develop and implement Asset Management methods, governance around malfunction reports, and Leading Indicators within the Quantified Risk Model. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, training and knowledge sharing, and the application of innovative approaches to improve grid reliability and technology integration. Location: Brussels, Belgium. Primary area of expertise will be EMF, with broader involvement in PQ and transient analyses; back-up coverage across activities. Fluency in Dutch or French and strong English skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electromechanics or Electronics
- Significant practical experience with protection and control systems as well as high-voltage equipment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage projects
- Fluency in Dutch or French and proficiency in English
