Job Summary
Expert Accounts Payables role handling payment-related activities in AP. Responsibilities include monthly closing/reporting for accounts payable, ensuring correct income tax and sales tax withholding, maintaining SLA/KPI adherence, AP reporting and aging analyses, managing foreign transactions (imports, ICs & LCs), and facilitating end-to-end processes for internal/external customers. Requires collaboration, excellent communication, Master’s in accounting/finance or active member of a professional accounting body, and experience with Oracle and Microsoft Office. Emphasizes a customer-centric approach and stakeholder management within a services-centre environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s in accounting / Finance OR a member of any professional accounting body
- Relevant experience in accounting and financial systems (Oracle is a plus)
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of IFRS and accounting concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Clear understanding of customer centric approach
- Knowledge of stakeholder management
- Knowledge of working in services centre environment
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable best practice
- Communication with stakeholders for queries and statuses
