Job Summary
Design, calibrate, and optimize DC and microwave experiments in dilution cryostats with state-of-the-art high-frequency control electronics; develop scalable, well-documented measurement and analysis workflows; maintain a close feedback loop with engineering to improve device performance; collaborate with theory and software teams to connect observations with models and automate experiment scheduling and data analysis as we scale toward a full quantum processing unit; deepen understanding of spin qubits in carbon nanotubes integrated within high-impedance cQED architectures; contribute to building a quantum computer in a fast-growing Paris lab with a diverse, global team.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in quantum physics or a closely related discipline OR a Masters with substantial research experience
- Hands-on experience with quantum experiments (DC transport, microwave spectroscopy, or both)
- Fluent Python programming used to control experiments and process data
- Strong scientific standards and clear communication in English
