Job Summary
Contract 1099 Experiential Facilitator providing remote Telehealth group psycho-education sessions for Charlie Health's Experiential/Creative/Contemplative treatment offerings. Requires a Master's degree in mental health (licensure preferred) with demonstrated expertise in experiential modalities (adventure, experiential, expressive therapy, creative therapy, recreation therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, sociometry, psychodrama) and comfort delivering group sessions virtually. Responsibilities include facilitating weekly psycho-education groups via Telehealth, developing experiential therapy curriculum, submitting weekly session plans, contributing to treatment team and curriculum planning, ensuring services align with best practices, pursuing ongoing learning about psychosocial functioning of groups, risk management, clear professional communication, timely documentation, and maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality. Must be able to schedule at least 9 hours per week, including at least 2 weeknights (3-9pm MST), and work remotely from within the United States. Position is contract/1099, with telehealth-focused responsibilities and collaboration with Admissions and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed mental health professional preferred
- Master’s degree in mental health or related field
- Experience and training in experiential modality (adventure, experiential, expressive therapy, creative therapy, recreation therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, sociometry, or psychodrama)
- Technical ability to run effective Telehealth sessions
- Reliable WiFi connection
- Familiarity with cloud-based communication software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox) and EMR/outcomes survey software
- Work authorized in the United States
- 1099 contract position
- At least 9 hours per week availability including at least 2 weeknights 3-9pm MST
- Experience with group practices and facilitating virtual groups
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Creativity and engagement over video
- Clinical supervision and curriculum development responsibilities
- Documentation in a timely, accurate manner
- Professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality
