Job Summary
Experienced Welder responsible for performing welds on customer-specified component parts with multi-pass welds, inspecting welds for non-conformities, and assembling parts per blueprints. Must read blueprints, utilize fixtures, and pass welding certifications per customer specs. Responsibilities include data entry into quality software, maintaining traceability, ensuring a 99% yield while trained, and adhering to safety policies. Requires proficiency with UT and RT weld joint inspection, use of welding tools, ability to work in a production shop with exposure to heat, dust, and PPE usage; ability to operate cranes/forklifts and to work in an environment demanding accuracy and safety. Education: high school diploma or GED; 3+ years welding experience; must pass weld assessment; proficient in welding all metals and selecting appropriate wire; able to weld both fixtured and non-fixtured parts; strong blueprint reading and measurement skills; commitment to quality and teamwork.
