Job Summary
Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues on various makes and models; perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections; use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and fix problems; communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repair recommendations and provide cost estimates; adhere to safety protocols in the service department; complete vehicle repairs and services efficiently with quality workmanship; maintain a clean, organized workspace; participate in ongoing training and education; must have own tools; ASE certification is a plus but not required. The role is full-time and located at Serpentini Chevrolet of Willoughby Hills in Willoughby Hills, OH; compensation ranges from $80,000 to over $100,000 per year depending on experience and skills, with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or strong mechanical background
- Own tools
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
