Job Summary
As an Experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic, you will maintain and repair medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, performing complex diagnostics and repairs on components including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. You should possess 2+ years of relevant experience or a Diesel tech degree along with a mechanical aptitude. Preferred qualifications include Kenworth Essentials certifications and experience with Cummins and MX software. Essential skills include self-motivation, strong communication, and customer relations abilities, with the condition that you must provide your own tools.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks
- Diesel tech degree and a mechanical aptitude/background acceptable
- Basic computer knowledge
- Self-motivation and assertiveness
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Must provide own tools
Desired Qualifications
- Kenworth Essentials certifications
- Cummins and MX software experience
