Job Summary
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, repairing or rebuilding major components including cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, and air systems. Maintain and repair equipment to ensure accurate, efficient job completion that maximizes customer uptime. Work alongside highly trained technicians in a fully equipped shop to perform top-quality work under little or no supervision. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to midnight. Must provide own tools.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks
- experience with engine repair
- experience with electronic trouble-shooting
- experience with HVAC systems
- experience with chassis repair
- mechanical aptitude
- mechanical background
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must provide own tools
- Must be able to work Monday- Friday 3:30pm – midnight
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
Desired Qualifications
- Kenworth Essentials certifications
- Cummins and MX software experience
- Diesel tech degree
