Job Summary
Communicate with customers regarding warranty claims, routine maintenance needs, and mechanical problems identified through questioning or visual inspections. Confers on inspection results, recommends corrective procedures, and prepares repair orders detailing time, cost, and labor estimates. Explains work performed and charges, handles complaints, and schedules appointments while obtaining vehicle data. Test drives vehicles to confirm problems, reviews repair history, and advises on vehicle care per manufacturer specifications. Provides written cost estimates, establishes promised times, and monitors repair progress to authorize additional work. Implements a quality control process, manages body work inspections, and maintains assigned vehicle parking areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
