Experienced Truck Driver: CDL-A Required

Job Summary
Operate a heavy-capacity commercial truck to transport steel products between locations, performing daily vehicle inspections and monthly safety checks. Maneuver trucks into loading positions, secure cargo with ropes and binders, and inspect material for defects before and after trips. Report vehicle defects, accidents, and traffic violations while maintaining all required documentation. Follow a pre-determined pickup and delivery schedule, complying with all D.O.T and FMCSR requirements. Requires a Class A CDL license, two years of driving experience, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begin after 60 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License
- two years of driving experience
- steel hauling preferred
- Ability to operate a clutch pedal
- Ability to operate a tractor trailer for up to 10 consecutive hours
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with all D.O.T and FMCSR requirements as well as applicable state laws
- Ability to climb on and off the semi-trailer as needed
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
