Job Summary
Experienced Tree Climber/Arborist role with The Davey Tree Expert Company in Akron, OH. Responsibilities include climbing trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems; performing pruning and removal services; installing cables, bracing, and lightning protection; maintaining and operating tools and equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts; collaborating with ground crew and crew leader; travel up to 25% as needed; outdoor work environment with a focus on greenspace stewardship and client service.
Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
